What we're seeing
At MS 429, the student:teacher ratio has risen 30% over the 5-year window — from 11.4:1 in 2023 to 14.8:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 4.0:1 below in 2023 to 0.6:1 below in 2024.
